Mindful Exercise vs Gym Routine

Mindful exercise is the act of raising awareness and levels of consciousness whilst working out to ensure one does not fall prey to the pilot mode or habitus reactionary mind stemming from a repetitive weekly gym routine. This blog will depict firstly what mindful exercising is comparable to a gym routine. Secondly why it is of more benefit to choose to mindfully exercise over a weekly gym regime. Thirdly before concluding, how mindful exercise is performed adequately and proficiently.

Mindful exercise is the practice of conscious awareness of the body’s muscles and cardio and needing to adequately deliver it with a sufficient amount of physical activity, deeming the body healthy and in good shape. Differentiating from an exercise regime at the gym, focusing on good shape is more so than good health. The significant difference between a set weekly gym regime comparable to mindful exercise lies in the spontaneity the body requires for the best results mentally and physically. Mindful exercise is achieved with conscious living, staying focused throughout one’s waking existence to adequately sense the body and await signals addressing the requirement to attend to physical activity to strengthen and build strength and stamina.

The reason for mindful exercise preference over a weekly gym routine is due to the rising level of awareness it provides in assuring to stay conscious and paying attention that a weekly routine can prevent. Having a set gym regime on repetition can often wire the mind on pilot mode seen as though the mind is habitually functioning on a daily basis. Spontaneity aids in converting the mind from habitus function to conscious awareness and hyper agility. This is because the mind is learning to use the body while simultaneously raising consciousness by switching it up to ensure the mind does not predict and habitually perform. When one does not feel or want to workout it is usually due to other matters and concerns needing attention the mind is prioritizing. To listen to the mind is to take heed of the signals and messaging to the body it provides, transforming the body from inside and out not outside alone.    Although a consistent gym regime may teach discipline and calm the mind and has multiple benefits, mindfully exercising from experience provisions the entirety of existence beneficially. Mindful exercise allocates time for the mind, body, and soul simultaneously, whereas a gym routine focuses on the mind and body initially, then after some time only the body because the mind adapts to a habitual knowing or confidence in performing the same weekly routine even if slight changes are made.   How mindful exercise explores the soul is through the stillness required to adequately receive and read the messages from the mind that prioritizes the soul over the body in knowing the soul’s healing will, in turn, provide comfort for the body. Pushing through pain, tiredness, or what some may call laziness can be a need to attend to something else the soul yearns for to achieve a weekly goal of gym performance neglecting the soul. That in turn ignores the mind and overworks the body, insufficiently providing for the mind and body although still beneficial comparable to no exercise is not as favourable as mindful exercising.

Mindful exercise requires discipline, focus, and attention to adequately accomplish, this section of the blog will go through how to mindfully exercise correctly. All three work together, where discipline is necessitated to properly consciously exercise in acquiring the attentiveness and patience to consistently perform the calming stillness required to read adequately what the body is asking for and fitting exercise in appropriately.   Taking it back to before gym equipment came to be, exercising was performed with the utilisation of the body from walking for cardio, push-ups for strength, and jogging/jumping for stamina. Gaging the body’s needs is essential as understanding the cruciality of stillness to patiently await the signal of what the body can perform and how much of it to successfully provide the body with the right amount of exercise in strength, cardio, and stamina for the muscle mass and energy the body has for that day. If the body does not have the energy for that day it is required to rest and reflect through time alongside the soul. It is the soul speaking through the body indirectly asking to attend to other matters needing one’s focus, to make space in the body for more energy to utilise.   Energy is merely emotions and if ignored it takes up space in the body and feeds off the energy supply driven from the Source which is the generating energy field referred to in traditional scriptures as God. The energetic stock all have within with direct access to the energy supply is the soul within all.

To sum up, mindful exercise has become the new age of working out, attending to the mind, body, and soul simultaneously. Reaching new heights by listening to the guidance sent of what the body needs, whether requires reflection for the soul to act on a deficit, rest for the body’s muscles or stillness for the mind. Unlike a weekly gym routine of repetition serving only the mind and body and later only the body after the mind becomes confident in performing the routine and goes in and out of pilot mode or daydreams. Requiring patience, discipline, and focus to take heed of the entirety of existence to mindfully exercise thus raising levels of consciousness and awareness while getting or maintaining the body’s good shape, healing or maintaining from inside and out.
